The Center for International Scholarly Resources (CISR) recently took a significant step toward growth and international collaboration through a benchmarking visit to My Inspiring Journey (MIJ) Hub in Singapore.

MIJ Hub is a leading inclusive learning center that caters to individuals with special needs, particularly those with autism. It provides a holistic approach through academic programs, therapy, and life skills training. With its learner-centered philosophy, MIJ has become a model of inclusive education in Singapore, offering tailored support that empowers both students and their families.

Through this visit, the CISR team gained valuable insights into MIJ’s academic systems, intervention strategies, and sustainable resource management. Observing MIJ’s operations firsthand allowed CISR to explore best practices in inclusive learning environments, as well as to examine effective budgeting structures and program implementation.

This experience aligns with CISR’s commitment to broaden its scope and live up to its mission of promoting globally relevant education and development. The insights gained from MIJ will serve as a guide in enhancing CISR’s own programs, especially in the areas of special education, teacher development, and institutional sustainability.

By learning from successful models like MIJ, CISR strengthens its vision of building inclusive, learner-centered educational spaces. The benchmarking visit marks a pivotal step toward continuous improvement and cross-border collaboration in support of diverse learners and progressive education systems.
